Fast food is very popular not only in the United States, but in nations across the globe. Its appeal, other than low cost compared to upscale restaurant food, is its taste.

The excessive salt, fat, and sugar in fast food is no accident. Food manufacturers know that our brains and taste buds are hot-wired to love the taste provided by these health-wrecking substances.

But have you ever considered what may be in these items? I agree that the products you purchase at outlets like KFC, McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Taco Bell, and on and on, are fast as far as preparation is concerned. But I take exception to calling them food. Read more...

Margarine dumbs kids down, and increases your risk of having a heart attack.
Researchers from the University of Aukland say kids who ate margarine every day had significantly lower IQ scores by the age of 3-1/2 than those who did not. They also discovered that children who were underweight at birth had IQ scores that were even lower by the time they were 7 years old. Read more...
