I believe they shouldn't be taxed more because it's a matter of inculcating a culture in the children. This should be done by the parents.
I for one rarely take these drinks because my mum taught me that they aren't good for the body. So I grew up with the perception that sugary drinks like sodas are bad for me. Other parents should do the same too.
