It is difficult for many people to lose weight, or otherwise reach their health goals, due to lack of support, encouragement and knowledge. This is no longer true for you. It is now my responsibility to see that you reach your weight loss, weight gain, or weight management objectives successfully.

In order to print, open the downloaded file, and select the "Print" option from the ebook menu.


When you have downloaded your My Body Measurements tracking sheet, measure and record your weight and waist, wrist, hip, upper thigh, calf, and forearm (with clenched fist) measurements. These measurements will be your starting point as you track your progress.

Go here to plug your measurements into a form to find out how much bodyfat you are carrying. Now go here to calculate your body mass index (BMI).

Thereafter record your measurements monthly. The best time to take these measurements is in the morning right after getting up and before eating.


Your body needs a certain minimum amount of calories to maintain itself at rest. This is known as the basal metabolic rate (BMR). The basal metabolic rate is dependent on gender, weight, activity level (active or couch potato), age and how much muscle and fat you carry.

When you take in calories greater than those necessary to maintain your body at rest, you gain weight. Likewise when you take in fewer calories, you lose weight. Go here to find out your maintenance calories.

Please complete your personal health history survey here. I will look at the information that you have provided and assess your state of health. In the meantime, to give me an idea of what you eat, your state of mind when you eat, and the times of your meals, start a food journal.

In this journal, write down every meal you eat, the times you eat, what you eat, your activity when you eat (do you watch TV when eating?), your state of mind (are you depressed, stressed out, angry?) In order to get a comprehensive picture of your eating habits, record this information for a week. Email that information to me.
